Three Little Piggies

Three Little Piggies went to .......
These were out first pigs we had on our new farm and my Mum just loved them so much she was
always taking photos, this being one of many.  I have to say they are the cutest we have had so far and the yummiest...

I love the use of natural colours and fibres, simple but effective.

Wedding Splendour

Todays page was inspired by one of many pages I have been looking at on Pinterest.  I just love how quick and easy it was but still very effective.  This time I thought I would focus on the photos and draw my colours out from the photos.  So I decided to start with the greys and just add a hint of blue.. I am very thrilled with the end result.
I recommend having a go with this layout, so much fun.

Scrapbooking with Irene Wardlaw

I have still managed to escape from the farm once a month to go to Irene Wardlaw's class at Kowhai Haven Crafts.  Its so much fun going to a class were it is all there for you, no thinking involved.  This page is just my cup of tea, its bright and colourful with lots of dimension.

This second page we could design ourselves and I absolutely love what I have done. I following the same colours and layout but this time I wanted to be able to have two photos. These photos were taken just for this layout, early morning shots taken while waiting for the School Bus.

Beautiful Ballerina Scrapbooking Page

Following the same layout as the Rugby Page of Thomas I decided to do a girls version using these old photos of my daughter Ellie-May.  Again I used my modelling paste but this time I changed the colour by adding a couple of drops of Blushing Bride re-inker to the paste, the result was perfect. I also used the New Little Letters Sizzlets and the New Little Heart Punch which is soo cute.
Hope this page inspires you too...

YEAH!!!! Im Back

Hi Everyone, Firstly I would like to explain my absence for the last couple of months. It's Calving time, which means long busy and stressful days on the farm.  We started calving on the 10th July and they came thick and fast, which is great but it also meant I had no time to do anything but the kids and the calves.  We are now almost finished calving our 375 Jersey Cows, so I am feeding over 180 replacement heifer and bull calves.  I can now see the light at the end of the tunnel finally.

However.... when I did have time to myself I went to my craft room and I have completed a number of Scrapbooking pages to show you, so watch this space over the next couple of days and I will share them all with you.

Here's my first one...

I have had these photos of my son Thomas sitting on my desk for a very long time and I have finally completed this fantastic layout, I just love it.  I had a lot of fun playing with my modelling paste on the background and the new Little Letters Sizzlits from Stampin Up.

Hope you like it too.
